N.F.L. (Never Finished Learning)

       Challenge Club!!

Do you want to be part of the fun? Mr. Mott's N.F.L. Challenge Club is looking for new recruits! The N.F.L. is a club for students who are never finished learning (N.F.L.). N.F.L. members go above and beyond the normal classroom expectations and challenge themselves to do more than what they "have" to do.

Here's how to get started:

1) Choose any challenge from the five categories on the challenge list: Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science or Humanities.

2) Research the challenge you chose by using reference books, talking to an expert (not your teacher!) or the internet.

3) STUDY, STUDY, STUDY so you become an expert on your challenge.

4) Use the scheduled time in school to show the teacher you are an expert on the challenge you chose. You can attempt ONE challenge per day. If you fail the challenge, do some more studying and try again tomorrow.

5) You can try a challenge as many times as you'd like.

6) Once you complete a challenge, you will not be able to earn any more points for that challenge.

7) When you pass the challenge you earn a point in the N.F.L. club! There are different rankings you can earn as you learn.

1-5 points: Rookie

6-10 points: Starting line-up

11-15 points: Pro

16- 25 points: All Star

More than 25 points: N.F.L. Hall of Fame

The "Hall of Fame" is posted on the N.F.L. Hall of Fame page of this website. You can also monitor student progress as the challenge progresses. Once you're in the Hall of Fame, you're in for life since you are a lifetime learner! You can track your progress on your own N.F.L. tracking sheet.

It's your decision if you would like to be part of the N.F.L. Club. You can be a player and earn points or be a cheerleader and support your friends. The N.F.L. is for students who are never finished learning. It's your call. Are you up for the challenge?
